PX7 Utilities Watch

Let incoming files land where they belong.

Watch a folder and move, copy or rename matching files when they arrive.

Seven-day trial · one-time purchase · 7 Macs · macOS 14+

Start with a dry run

Test a rule to see its current matches and destinations. Nothing changes until you enable it.

Match the files you mean

Use file extensions, part of a name or both. Leave them empty when every incoming file belongs to the rule.

Move, copy or rename

Send a file to another folder, keep a copy, or apply a rule saved by PX7 Utilities Rename.

Wait until a file is ready

Watch lets downloads and large writes settle before it acts, with a delay you can choose in Settings.

Never replace a destination

An existing name stops that action. The reason stays visible in Activity so you can decide what happens next.

Pause from the menu bar

Pause every rule or run enabled rules immediately without keeping the main window in front.

New rules begin paused. Existing files establish the starting point; automatic actions begin with later arrivals after you enable the rule.
