Tidy is built for local storage review. It scans on your Mac, stores metadata on your Mac and leaves cleanup decisions to you.

Saved scan history contains metadata such as paths, sizes, dates and finding decisions. It is stored locally in Application Support.
Full Disk Access is optional and granted in macOS System Settings. Without it, protected folders may be skipped or reported as unreadable.
Activation contacts PX7 Digital with the license key, a privacy-preserving Mac identifier and the Mac display name.
Tidy checks an HTTPS update manifest on utilities.px7.digital. Manual update checks always report a result.
