Add things to a shelf
Drop files, folders or links into the window, use Add Items, or choose Add from Clipboard. Shelf saves a reference to each original rather than importing a hidden copy.
Use a selection
Select one or more items to open them, preview local files with Quick Look, reveal originals in Finder, or copy and move local items as a set.
Take a shelf to another Mac
Choose Export Shelf Package to create one .px7shelf package. It contains copies of available local items along with the shelf’s links and text. On the other Mac, choose Import Shelf Package and select the local folder that should receive those copies.
Remove a reference
Remove Reference and Clear Shelf only remove entries from Shelf. They do not delete the original items.
Missing originals
A warning appears when an original is no longer available at its saved location. Locate or add the item again, then remove the unavailable reference.
